SWAN is having a 2 day “Time for You” Event as part of Social Inclusion Week.
Day 1 will include:
- Time for Me Meditation
- Auricular Acupuncture
Day 2 Breast Cancer Awareness – Thursday 11th October 10.30am to 12.30pm
As October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we are delighted to welcome the Marie Keating Mobile Information Unit to SWAN on Thursday 11th October 2018 from 10am – 12.30am.
The Marie Keating Foundation’s work focuses on raising awareness of all of the common cancers affecting men and women in Ireland and the healthy lifestyle choices that reduce the risk of cancer. The Marie Keating Foundation has three purpose-built mobile information units which travel around Ireland to bring life-saving messages of prevention and early detection to as many people as possible.
A specialist nurse from the mobile unit will give a short presentation on women’s health and breast cancer information in SWAN. Afterwards, she will be available to speak to you and give you information, in the mobile unit on a one to one basis about any cancer related concerns you might have either for yourself or a family member or friend.
Please come and join us and avail of this vital service and information.
Lunch is included on both days – this is a free event
